My father was throwing a party/event to see friends and family (was diagnosed with brain cancer). so my dad contacted a few porta jons companies to get a quote (jons to go was one). ultimately my dad went with best way disposal. a few days before the event i received a phone call from jons to go stating that if he doesn't pay for the service NOW, that he would get a fee on top of the purchase. Not knowing my dad had already paid for service (best way) i paid for the service. the day before the party bestway disposal showed up with the porter jons and about and hour later jons to go showed up. i told jons to go about the mistake so they didn't drop off the restrooms. i called the company to discuss the confusion only to get 78 dollars back for an 178 dollar purchase. i told the women on the phone my dad was only calling for a QUOTE and that i felt pressured into paying for this when they called. i also said i feel obligated to pay for the gas used to bring the jons, but not for service. Got no where with that so in ending. if i see anyone is throwing a get together i will advise of jons to go.
I've filed a complaint with the BBB as well. I have a stationary RV that has a holding tank under it, prior to purchasing I got a quote. $35 to empty it, I asked specifically if the sized matter as I was looking at a couple of different sizes. The reply was no. I called to schedule the service and the price went up to $50, not happy but understanding prices changes slightly. I conferred with the wife that she still wanted it serviced and she said yes, called back 30 minutes later and the price went up to $150 because the schedule was set. Really not happy I decided to just wait and schedule it later. After trying to schedule it for whenever was convenient for them I was now informed the price is $150 regardless.
I called they give one price. Call an hour later with another if they can't run card right now. Than cal back 20 mins later and say they are sold out. That's not how you run a business. Poor vey poor business.
