Dont go there we had a man try to follow us around trying to force us to buy his food stamps then he went to every register trying to do the same thing there were woman in there with there kids i went to a diffrent lane and he followed me and try to give the cashier his food card when i was tring to pay. They didnt kick him out and let him harass there customers scary place for a woman to be in
The prices are a little too high compared to Walmart and Meijer.
Was in the area, driving by and just stopped in for something I needed. NOTHING has changed - don't believe the hype. STILL ridiculously expensive and taking advantage of the impoverished that don't have a car to make it over to the Henry St. strip to Walmart or Meijer. They should be ashamed of themselves. I was looking for part-time work while finishing a Master's Degree. They offered $8.90/hour. Not sure what minimum wage is here in Michigan now but I told her I was making $7.50 + a .75/hr shift premium back in...........1985 - that's over 30 YEARS ago. F-that and I hung up the phone.
You can find some good deals here! I love the NEW store look and setup. The atmosphere is no different than any other local grocery store, the staff is friendly and helpful.
This place is great now! I love shopping there & their prices are very competitive! You should try their meats...the pork roast i fixed & shared with others eas very succulent!
