My wife has been in and out all week due to intense upper abdominal pains and vomiting so much that now blood is coming up. Her Doctors today when she was brought in by ambulance because the pain was so intense were PA Chelsea and MD Mary Boyer. They made her lay there in excruciating pain before giving her a prescription for IBS meds ( which she doesnt have) and a muscle relaxer shot that they said they would try something else if it didnt work. Not only did they treat her disrespectfully the doctor said "if it was her gull bladder it would hurt her to eat and it doesnt" this was after my wife said numerous times it was excruciating after she ate. So not only did she not listen and say nothing was wrong (if nothing was wrong why did she send her to a surgeon). Come to find out it is in fact her gallbladder that has now become so bad due to this hospitals lack of care this week that her pancreas is being affected by it too. If you care about your loved ones dont take them here because the doctors don't care about them.
Everyone we encountered was kind, professional, helpful. Many went above and beyond to help. Hospitals are not fun places to be, but the people are wonderful.
We are from out of town. I am 25 weeks pregnant and the staff was very quick and kind. They got me right in and kept a close eye on me and my baby. Turns out I am just a bit hydrated and all will be fine in time. They reassured me that it was right to come in and get things checked out. The relief and comfort the O.B. staff was able to bring me truly means a lot. Thanks nurse Laura and staff.
Horrid service. Psycho doctors and nurses. Pretty par with the rest of modern day "medicine." But at least I don't need to worry about whether or not they got their money. They always do! Their "social worker" is a lying bigot!
I called an ambulance on Dec 23. 2017, to bring my husband to Hackley ER, he was unresponsive and and his blood sugars were low. I was in awe of the wonderful treatment he received. He was extremely ill, and i was so distraught! The entire staff was both caring and knowledgeable, and took great care, not only of my husband, but showed me so much compassion. The RN Rebecca, and everyone else, including Andrew, the Pharmacist, were attentive, professional, and outstanding!
