Small but elegant. Displays quality work. Worth a trip.
Very nice place. My husband and I went from the area but the kids were gone so we went to muskegon to check it out. We walked in an hour before closing and she only charged us half price
throughout your career. You have left us with so many gifts.
Had the privilege of seeing the Edward S. Curtis, THE NORTH AMERICAN INDIAN EXHIBIT, at the Muskegon Museum of Art. It was excellent for lack of a better word. Educational beyond major, beautiful, and detailed. Thank you for the unforgettable displays, the maps, pictures, and the works of Mr Curtis. The work of the Muskegon Museum of Art, is so appreciated along with all that are involved to make it happen. A big thank you to my sister for asking me all. A must see. Wear comfortable shoes.
Lovely museum just the right size for this small city. AND, they put on an AWESOME exhibit of Curtis' Native American photographs. Included lots of insight on his style, the way he went about acquiring photos, and some good historical context to help us better "read" the photos -- yes, they were staged; but yes, too, he definitely caught something deep in the human emotions and dignity of his subjects. HURRY this exhibit ends soon I believe.
