They don't have rails for the top bunk and people.are being hurt
The accommodations were as to be expected. The continental breakfast was at like 3:30 in the morning, I missed it, slept in. Interesting that I had to shower and poop with other guests, must be a European thing they are trying. The game room was pleasant when I wasnt at work. TV worked, but didnt get very many stations and you could never find a remote to channel surf. The lack of pillows and wifi cost 2 stars. Id review this again in the future if changes were made. At this time, I would not recommend this place to a friend. Check-in times were horrible and you felt like you were ignored for hours.
So here we set frustrated because there is nobody to complain to, no department to make aware that the machine from the 90's is not working and probably hasn’t for months or years and nobody to step up to make sure the emotional support for family and inmates is taken seriously or facilitated, no wonder there are repeat offenders, this is careless, disrespectful and slip shod at best and all of we are forced to pay for it!
I liked some of the sheriff's like mrs. Schubert and Miss Johnson they helped me a lot I like them they were very respectful and honest there was a lot of other officers that did so but those two were the most respectful there's an officer I can't remember her name but she helps me a great deal well there are not all bad officers at the the jail yes there was overcrowded but they tried to make it work it's hard not to get over crowded when you have people coming in and coming in and coming in and you have no room so they tried their best
Terrible! Hate being involved with their ‘system’! That’s all it is and they’re a bunch of heartless tax/fine/fee paid workers. Why do they care when it’s not their family member right? Especially the judge!
Their.Kiosh doesn't work properly and the staff is rude when you ask for help
Their medical staff is uncaring and very unprofessional
If this is an example Sherriff Poulins' ability as administrator of a brand new jail maybe he should get back on the beat and make his leather swivel chair available to someone who remembers how to serve. I feel like as family of an inmate I’ve been dismissed and endure emotional punishment and in a way victimized by a policy of unconcern and lethargy towards inmates and families, I certainly deserve better however at this point under his watch I’ve found nobody at a post who knows anything, nobody can be found who is responsible for the equipment or the convoluted process of onsite visitation hiding behind the suggestion I read the policy online like that helps at all.
The MCJ website directs you to a pay to play are where you are to schedule internet or onsite visitation but the onsite scheduling is either not there or the process is worse than the tax code to understand. I’ve been to the kiosk at the courthouse twice trying to figure it out with no success, sitting next to the scheduling terminal are the pay to play machines well maintained and in great working order unfortunately for my loved one the kiosk to schedule an onsite visit has a broken touchpad and probably has been broken for some time. Didn't we just spend millions on a new facility but we get old and busted when it comes to visiting loved ones?
