Will not be returning to this store ever again. Waste of time.
First time being in the store and was browsing the Pokémon cards. Asked a simple question about warhammer and the cards they had there. Very rude and did not treat me or the other customers with respect. Will not be returning to this store
My kids love this store. The employees are so polite and never tell them to stop touching things. My kids don't take them out of the plastic but love to look at them. Today, an employee asked if he could make sure the comic didn't have adult content. I told him yes. He said it was rated similar as a pg13, which I appreciated. He said he always makes sure the parents know what comics contain adult content so kids don't read something they shouldn't. The selection is huge and for 2 bucks a comic, my kids love picking a few out when we are at the mall.
I love this place. Their prices are very fair, and their selection is unbelievable. I've been in the other comic stores in bigger cities like Grand Rapids, and Lansing, and they don't have anything on Langes. The layout of their store is fantastic. $2.00 books on the main floor, Silver Age and higher dollar books next to the counter, Key books against the wall (all high grade), and all arranged alphabetically and by publisher (Marvel, DC, Image, etc). There's been a lot of work done to make this store the most customer friendly in the area. I'm always greeted when I walk into the store (and see them greet everyone else too) and am told "if you have any questions or need anything please let us know." The best thing I've seen there recently is an employee telling parents that the comic they were buying for their young child had adult content. He didn't say they couldn't buy it, but gave them the information needed to make an informed decision. Customer care is number one here, and the almighty dollar seems to take a back seat. Thank you for being the best comic book store in Michigan, and providing 25 + years of customer service and entertainment.
