I feel bad for people that have no vehicle that to use this facility.
I normally go to the laundromat on Home street but I thought I would try to save gas. Never again. Called many times to make sure of the hours as it was a Sunday, no answer. Get here and the worker is sitting by the phone doing nothing. Even while I was there the phone just rang and rang. Additionally she was very short and not welcoming at all. Not what I'm used to or expect.
Worker was fine when we got there. She was just painting the walls then she started smoking inside the building!!!! I have a 1 year old i do not want breathing that crap in i am also allergic to tobacco not to mention its against the law to smoke inside!!!!! This was on Tuesday January 26th before noon. This woman needs to be fired immediately.
I went here for two years because I didn't know there were any other laundromats around. This place was the worst laundromat I've ever been to. The machines are always broken, their dryers don't dry properly, and they don't clean their machines. My clothes have been left with weird marks from the washers and the dryers smell super funky. The worst is that the staff smoke inside the building, even though it's a public facility, and even though Michigan has a clean air law. Thus, you will pay a bunch of money to have your clothes smell like cigarette smoke. In the winter it got so bad I would have to sit in my car. The bathrooms here are incredibly shady. Just don't use them. There's no soap, no way to dry your hands, and the toilets are dirty. The staff is also super rude, unhelpful, and usually not even at the desk when the machines eat your quarters or the washers start pouring water across the floor (seriously).
Needs more service
The washers are incredibly dirty. Dispensers for the detergent and softners are clogged and nasty.
